چکیده
Fractional factorial split-plot design has been widely used in many fields due to its advantage of saving experimental cost. The general minimum lower order confounding criterion is usually as one the attractive for selecting fractional design. In this paper, we are interested theoretical construction methods optimal designs under criterion. We present several conditions.

A note on the construction of blocked two-level designs with general minimum lower order confounding
Blocked designs are useful in experiments. The general minimum lower order confounding (GMC) is an elaborate criterion which was proposed for selecting optimal fractional factorial designs. Zhang and Mukerjee (2009b) extended the GMC criterion to the B-GMC criterion for selecting a 2n−m : 2r design, where 2n−m : 2r denotes a two-level regular blocked design withN = 2n−m runs, n treatment factor...
متن کاملResults for Two-Level Designs with General Minimum Lower-Order Confounding
The general minimum lower-order confounding (GMC) criterion for two-level design not only reveals the confounding information of factor effects but also provides a good way to select the optimal design, which was proposed by Zhang et al. (2008). The criterion is based on the aliased effect-number pattern (AENP). Therefore, it is very important to study properties of AENP for two-level GMC desig...
متن کاملfactorial and split-plot statistical designs
factorial and split-plot designs are two statistical procedures used to conduct agricultural field experiments. both designs are used frequently to quantify the main and interaction effects of two or more factors. however, split-plot design is recommended for specific situations depending on major and minor goals of the study, characteristics of the factors, and precision of statistical testing...
متن کاملMinimum Setup Minimum Aberration Two-level Split-plot Type Designs for Physical Prototype Testing
Companies always seek strategies to shorten product development and reduce time-to-market. Although new technologies allow for less effort in prototyping, physical testing still remains an important step in the product development cycle. Well-planned experiments are useful to guide the decision-making process. During the design of an experiment one of the challenges is to balance limited resour...
